Prue completed a B.A.(Hons) in Italian at the University of Sydney. After living overseas for several years she studied Drawing and Etching at the Workshop Arts Centre, Willoughby, later going on to complete an Associate Diploma of Fine Arts and a Certificate of Advanced Printmaking at Hornsby TAFE.

Prue has exhibited widely since 1980, has won several awards and has taught Art to adolescents and children.

Her main interest is in imbuing manmade objects with mystery, using etching and digital media.
