Lorraine Avery
Lorraine is a Sydney based printmaker whose favourite printmaking method is carborundum and collograph.
She particularly likes the painterly effects that can be achieved using carborundum. She also uses stitching in her work referencing her interest in sewing.
People and places in history and archaeology provide inspiration for her work.
She has been exhibiting with the Print Circle since 2018 and with Southern Printmakers Association since 2000.
