Cheryl McCoy
Cheryl completed a Bachelor of Social work (Hons) at Curtin University WA. She has worked with trauma survivors in various settings across Australia. In her travels she became captivated by the extraordinary beauty of the landscape, its stories, and how people relate to it.
She studied at Hunter TAFE and was awarded a Diploma of Visual Arts (high distinction) and has been exhibiting since the mid 1990s and has been a finalist in a broad range of art prizes in Australia.
Cheryl seeks to thread her understanding of the human condition with her experiences of the complexities of nature using woodblock, lino and etching techniques.
